Barangaroo South WeWork fitout

Harvey Air Conditioning was contracted by Shape to undertake the six floor fitout of the air conditioning system for the engineered timber building, Damaru House, having also completed the original mechanical design and construct for the building for Lend Lease.

This building is the second timber, modern framed commercial office building in Sydney using CLT technology and engineered timber, and as designed it achieves a 5 star NABERS rating and a 6 star GBCA Greenstar office rating.

WeWork commissioned a highly functioning space which utilises a combination of chilled beams and air handling units to service the six levels or 11,000 metres of commercial space. The fitout was completed early in 2020.


Boston Consulting

Harvey Air Conditioning was contracted by MPA Construction to undertake the three floor fitout of the air conditioning system for the stunning commercial building in Sydney’s financial hub at Sixty Martin Place.

This installation included water cooled packaged systems, flangeless linear grilles, VRF system, fan coil units, outside air and general exhaust fans, chilled beams, BMCS control system and a water cooled CRAC system, to provide a contemporary solution for its client.

This fitout for the Boston Consulting Group has provided air conditioning excellence to complement the panoramic harbour and city views, with this encompassing meeting rooms, workfloor/ open areas, comms rooms, boardroom, kitchen and data centres. The fitout was completed in mid 2020.


Octagon Building, Transport NSW

Harvey Air Conditioning was contracted by Formula Interiors to undertake the four floor fitout of the air conditioning system for Transport NSW, located in the landmark Octagon Building at 110 George St Parramatta.

This installation included water cooled packaged systems, outside air and general exhaust fans, fan coil units and a BMCS control system upgrade to complement the environmentally sustainable A grade commercial building in the heart of Parramatta’s financial precinct.

This fitout provided transport NSW with a contemporary air conditioning system for its meeting/boardrooms, general office areas, quiet rooms and the base building air conditioning system. The fitout was completed in mid 2019.


Penrith golf club

Harvey Air Conditioning was contracted by Integrated Projects to undertake a major upgrade to Penrith Golf Club.

This installation included fan coil units and associated condenser units servicing all venues throughout the club, outside air and general exhaust fans, kitchen exhaust fans and an evaporative Cooler for the new kitchen. The project also included the relocation of existing high wall splits and multi head air conditioning systems.

This fitout provided Penrith Golf Club with a modernised, functional air conditioning system for its alfresco gaming areas, sports lounge, main lounge and dining, entry and office, bistro and kids play area.\

The fitout was completed in mid 2020.


Wellington St Chippendale

Harvey Air Conditioning was contracted by TPD Projects to undertake the three level fitout of the air conditioning system for the recently restored heritage office building at 1-7 Wellington St Chippendale.

This installation included VRV systems with air cooled condensers, outside air, and general exhaust fans, refrigeration pipework and new central control system for the building.

This fitout provided a contemporary air conditioning system for general office areas, ground floor atrium, breakout and meeting rooms and loading/carpark areas.

The fitout was completed in mid 2020.


Withers Road Kellyville

Harvey Air Conditioning was contracted by EDT Projects to undertake the air conditioning installation for the residential apartment development at Lincoln Rise, 16-20 Withers Rd Kellyville.

Each of the seventy apartments is independently air conditioned with a mulit head split system, complete with a single condenser unit and wirless controller. This installation also included a ventilation system for the carparks for Blocks 1 and 2.

Harveys have undertaken similar apartment design and construct projects for EDT Projects at 28-34 Carlingford Rd Epping and 64-66 Chandos St Crows Nest.

This project was completed in mid 2019.


Barangaroo South International House

Harvey Air Conditioning was contracted by Lend Lease to provide the air conditioning system for the unique International House building, located at the gateway to Barangaroo South.

This building sets an industry benchmark as the first timber, modern framed commercial office building in Sydney using CLT technology and engineered timber. 

Harvey Air Conditioning has established a proven track record in chilled beam design and installation, originating with the highly acclaimed Parkview project at Homebush.

Upon completion of the building, HAC was appointed to undertake the fitout of this building for the tenant Accenture, which was completed in November 2017.


201 Kent St Sydney

HARVEY Air Conditioning was contracted by Built to renew and expand the air conditioning systems for the $6m upgrade of 201 Kent St Sydney. This is a 34 level office tower owned by the Investa Property Group.

The air conditioning installation included new systems for the upgraded lobby/ podium area, which incorporated a new lobby café, kitchen and serving area.

A fully integrated BMS system was installed to ensure optimum energy management and control systems for the building. The project was completed in October 2017.



Facebook Building – 77 King St Sydney

HARVEY Air Conditioning was contracted by Commercial Interior Projects to install the air conditioning system for the commercial fitout of the Facebook Tenancy on Level 2 and Level 18, 77 King St Sydney.
This incorporated the relocation of the existing base building chilled beams, in addition to a new air conditioning system for a Function/Event space, Comms room and a Control room.

A VAV A/C system was installed to supplement the new Conference rooms, Mothers’ space and Quiet rooms. The project was completed in March 2017.



NBN Eastern Creek

The NBN TAND4 Eastern Creek Building is part of Australia’s Broadband network. This site/building is utilized to house new network modules, including cable management and associated infrastructure.

The mechanical works undertaken by HAC included installation of specialised computer room air conditioning units, in addition to roof top packaged units, all exhaust systems and BMS.

The project was undertaken for Shape, and was completed in December 2016.

 


Barangaroo – Residential Installation

Harvey Air Conditioning was contracted by Lend Lease to install the air conditioning system to the Andara and Alexander boutique buildings at Barangaroo South. These are the first residential buildings to be released at Barangaroo and include one level of retail space and seven levels, or 159 residential apartments. In total these buildings cover over 18,000 square meters of highly sought after waterfront precinct.

The mechanical scope of this demanding project incorporated the company’s role as the lead services coordinator of the 3D drafting technique. The 3D designs allowed for the identification of potential problems by allowing the visualisation of the different aspects of the project as a whole.

These prestigious Sydney apartments were completed mid 2015.



Intuit – North Sydney

The project undertaken for Jones Lang LaSalle for Intuit at 1 O’Connell St Sydney, involved a significant enhancement of the air conditioning system of the building. This included modifications to the current systems and the provision of supplementary units to conference rooms, training room, boardrooms and computer rooms.

The revised system is fully integrated to the base building BMS.



320 Pitt St – Telstra Building

Large mechanical upgrade project requiring considerable engineering skill in removing and replacing chillers, two cooling towers and upgrade of BMS system whilst building 100% occupied.


Worksmart – 420 George St Sydney

Harvey Air Conditioning installed the air conditioning system for the new state of the art Sydney headquarters of Jones Lang LaSalle, appropriately deemed “Worksmart” at 420 George St.

Sustainability features were high on the outcomes list with the upgrade involving an extensive fitout of the general office space, including boardrooms, computer and training rooms, staff breakout areas and a BMS upgrade. An abundance of free space for staff to roam, combined with energy efficiency features have ensured this building achieve a coveted five star Green Star office interiors rating.


Parkview – Homebush

New 5 storey retail and commercial building, air conditioned by separate plant with each floor having ability to operate in four separate sections. 5 Star NABERS, 6 star Greenstar. This building provides cutting edge energy efficiency and minimal environmental impact.



Quad 4 – Homebush

Quad 4 was the first and final stage of the QUAD development at Homebush Bay, project managed by Bovis Lend Lease, mechanical installation by Harvey Air Conditioning. Air conditioning for the 6800m2 office development, utilised a chilled beam system and 100% conditioned outside air. The building achieves 5 star NABERS (National Australian Built Environment Rating System) and 5.0 Green Star rating, representing excellence in sustainable office design.


GSK (Glaxo Smith Kline Ermington)

This project involved a total mechanical upgrade of a two storey commercial building, with this including all indoor offices, meeting rooms etc, two plantrooms, and a new fully integrated BMS system. Large steel platforms were constructed to mount the new Daikin outdoor VRV condensing units.


Lasseters Alice Springs

Harvey Air Conditioning has been involved in the design and construct of the mechanical systems to support a major new development of the Lasseters Hotel Casino Complex in Alice Springs. This includes a new two storey hotel reception, gym and spa building, 3 storey hotel block, outdoor pool, kitchen, laundry, Restaurant and VIP gaming room. Due to be completed late 2012.
